Gary Stoneking
Gary has been practicing law for over 30 years in Minnesota. His entire career has centered on the representation of injured people.
Gary served as a Marine Corps Sergeant in Vietnam. When he returned home, Gary attended law school at the University of Minnesota where he graduated cum laude. During school, Gary began a legal clerkship with a prominent Minneapolis personal injury law firm. Gary was fortunate to begin his legal practice in the midst of some of the giants in the history of the profession in this state. Gary quickly rose to become a partner with the firm. While there, Gary was directly involved in many seminal personal injury cases of that time. For example, Gary represented numerous victims of the Galaxy Airlines Flight 203 plane crash in Reno, Nevada.
When Gary went out on his own, he carried with him his years of service to injured people and an unrivaled reputation amongst his peers. When Minnesota Law & Politics created the term "Super Lawyer", Gary was among those chosen. Over the years, Gary has been happy to focus his small practice on helping seriously injured people. Rather than focusing on gathering up all the lawsuits he can find and building his practice into some sort of factory, Gary has chosen to focus on the people that truly need his help. This approach his served him well for many years and it has allowed him to build lasting friendships that he values.
Gary carries an AV® Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Martindale-Hubbell states that obtaining this rating is "a testament to the fact that a lawyer's peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence."
Gary lives in Amery, Wisconsin with his wife Diane. He enjoys sailing, reading and spending time with his grandchildren.
